Founder Michael Twiss currently serves as President/CEO of both Columbia Stone, Inc. and Natural Stone Designs, Inc. Michael oversees the day to day management and future planning of both companies. With over 33 years in the construction industry and 27 of those in the stone industry, he has utilized his drive and dedication into building two successful construction companies.

In addition to his corporate duties, Michael served on the Executive Board of the Marble Institute of America as Treasurer in 2009 and President in 2012.
Michael holds a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Oregon State University and is a licensed Civil Engineer in California and Washington. When he is not flying around the globe to go to range reviews, jobsite visits, and meeting with new customers, he enjoys family activities and has a passion for golf.

Co-founder Linda Twiss currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer for Columbia Stone, Inc. and Natural Stone Designs, Inc. Linda has been here from the beginning with her steadfast support. Linda serves as the Human Resources Manager for both Companies and Accounts Receivable for Natural Stone Designs. She also takes care of all banking aspects for Columbia Stone, Inc. and Natural Stone Designs.

Linda enjoys traveling, swimming, reading and spending time with her family.

Jeremy Twiss has been the General Manager for Natural Stone Designs for the past 10 years. Before then he worked in all aspects of the stone fabrication industry and has over 17 years experience. Growing up in the industry, he has been around stone all of his life.

Jeremy holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Geography from Oregon State University and has a solid background in Geology. When not hard at work, he enjoys golfing, college football, snow skiing, and most of all spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.

Carlos has more than 23 years of experience in all aspects of slab stonework, working hands-on in the shop overseeing the production process, scheduling, customer service and management. Fifteen of those years have been as Operations Manager with total responsibility for all shop and jobsite functions. He has also led and managed the sales team in creating production and sales objectives. He believes that superior product quality and customer service are keys to a win-win relationship with our clients, employees and suppliers.

Carlos attended a two year Small Business Management program at Mount Hood Community College and earned a BA degree in International Business in Mexico. His main hobbies are spending time at the beach and playing basketball.

Chris recently returned to Natural Stone Designs, bringing with him 19 years of experience in the stone industry. His expertise is invaluable to the company.

Although he graduated from Portland State University, Chris is an avid fan of Oregon Duck football. He can be heard Monday mornings in the office recounting the weekend’s game. He also enjoys snow skiing and working on projects around the house.

Jolene Boger has been part of the Natural Stone Designs team since 2018. Prior to then she was co-owner and contractor in the Plumbing Industry. With over 17 years’ experience in Business Administration and 7 years in the construction industry.

Jolene holds an Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration / Accounting and is continuing her education on Project Management. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, developing recipes, football, and spending time in the great outdoors with her daughter and 3 sons.
